Get focused in 2020!

I have been teaching people jewelry-making online since 2015, can you guess the biggest challenge people have when it comes to making jewelry?

It’s not lack of supplies

Or that they have no idea where to begin.

It’s time.

The biggest thing stopping people from making jewelry — or doing anything creative — is a lack of time.

But you know what? I don’t think that’s true.

Do you have a lot on your plate? Absolutely.

Do you have people to care for, a house to maintain, and a job to go to? You bet.

However, I firmly believe that the real things stopping people is not a lack of time, but rather not using your time well.

What right do I have to say that?

Because I take care of my two young kids (ages 2 & 6), run a business, a blog about eco-friendly living, volunteer, keep my home (relatively) clean, cook a couple of meals a week, freelance write, see friends, go to the gym at least once a week, read at least three books a month, and until December, worked a very part-time job.

Now, I’m not saying this to brag. Not by any means. But rather to prove a point: I rock at time management.

Friends often ask me what’s my secret to getting things done. And it’s a combination of a few things:

  • Having a few systems in place that keep me organized (in my case, it’s Google Calendar, Trello, and a very simple bullet journal)
  • Working when my brain functions best (in my case, any time before 3:00pm)
  • Being clear on my goals and projects
  • Writing everything down
  • Scheduling things and setting reminders
  • Breaking down bigger projects into small to-dos
  • Having a mindset that I can get things done

This is where the Ultimate Productivity Bundles comes into play

Ultimate Productivity Bundle 2020In a nutshell, the Ultimate Productivity Bundle is a collection of planners, ebooks, online courses, workbooks, and printables designed to help you get stuff done and make space in your life for things you want to do — like make jewelry! — and not just have to do.

In it, you’ll learn how:

  • Build routines
  • Get organized
  • Set goals
  • Manage your time effectively
  • Shift your mindset

But what makes the Ultimate Productivity Bundle so incredible is that it’s 73 products valued at $2837.06 all rolled up and tied up in a neat bow for you for as little as $47.00.

Ok, now I know what you’re thinking.

“Seriously, Bev, we’re talking about how little time I have and you expect me to work my way through over 70 products?!”

I’m right there with you, friend.

I would absolutely NOT recommend you go through every ebook, course, and workbook in the ULTIMATE PRODUCTIVITY BUNDLE.

Going through every single product would be redundant and a waste of your valuable, limited time. In fact, going through the bundle myself. there was a ton of overlap in material.

Instead, I recommend you focus on the products in the bundle that will help you the most.

I know that 73 products is a TON to go through. To help you out, I started going through the Bundle myself so I could share with you the products so I think it will be the most beneficial. But first, a few things to note:

  • While I looked at the planners, I’m not recommending any. I have tried so many planners over the years, and what’s ultimatey worked for me is a combination of Trello, Google Calendar, and a very simple bullet journal. (Make sure you scroll to the bottom of this page for a very special exclusive offer from me!)
  • I haven’t yet gone through any of the products in the Goal Setting section. It’s not because I don’t think setting goals is important, but rather because I personally don’t find setting Big Goals in January to be super beneficial to me because my priorities so often shift. Rather, I like to keep track of all the things I want to do in a specific Trello board and shift them around as necessary. (Again, check out below my special offer!)
  • Some of the products are specifically tailored to business owners. I am not including those in my general recommendations. However, I know a number of people who follow Linkouture are business owners, so I made a note of some product recommendations for product owners after my general recommendations.
  • Many of the products in the Bundle are more geared toward moms, but I think the material can be applied to people regardless if you are taking care of young children or not.
  • The products with a * are the ones I recommend you start with first.

Alright, here are my top picks in the Ultimate Productivity Bundle to help you make 2020 your most productive year yet and to help you go focused on your goal of making time for jewelry making!

(And just to clarify, you’ll get access to ALL of the products listed below, plus over 60 more, after you buy the bundle.)

Getting Organized

*Creating A Digital Home Management System (eCourse)

“Learn how to take your Home Management Notebook digital – and get everything you need to set up your system in minutes!”

This is a great course to take if you’re interested in a digital and visual way to organize your home life (and projects) and want to start to learn Trello (and not rely on paper!). I’m personally a HUGE fan of Trello for organizing my entire life — including jewelry-making. If you’ve never used Trello, this course will walk you through how to get started.

I don’t think you need to watch the entire course to benefit from it — I would focus on the second module, Getting Started with Trello (about 16 1/2 minutes total). Then you can check out the videos on the boards that make sense for you (the longest one is a little over five minutes).

Value of the course: $34.00

Organize Your Online World (Workbook)

An easy method to organize your email, apps and phone to get things done and prevent mindless scrolling.”

A short read with some really practical tips for not wasting time on your phone, e-mail. etc.

Time Management

*The Smart Focus Method: Be Productive Not Busy (eCourse)

Stop being busy and accomplish your goals through focused daily action.”

This is a relatively short course with practical advice for organizing your days and figuring out what is your main goal and driving force for each day. It’s a really good beginner course with some tips on getting yourself focused, clear with your intentions, goals, and tasks. You can use this method for learning a new task — like jewelry-making. Think you have no time? Let this help you with her method to help you get there.

Rachel also walks you through coming up with a vision board, but if that’s not your jam, you can skip that section of the course.

Value of the course: $37.00

*Time Blocking 101 (Workbook)

This workbook will help you creating structure in your days so you can manage your tasks well. Time blocking is a method that encourages focus by eliminating distractions, helping you to get more done.”

She advocates for some of the same strategies I employ to stay focused and get things done. It’s a pretty short read so you can go through it fairly quickly.

Value of the workbook: $12.00

Building Routines

*Habit Stacking: 127 Small Changes to Improve Your Health, Wealth, and Happiness (eBook)

“The essence of habit stacking is to take a series of small changes and build a ritual that you follow on a daily basis.”

I DEVOURED this book. Seriously, such a good read chock-full of great information. He goes through the science of creating routines (which he calls stacks), how to build them up so that they will actually stick, and how to break down big tasks you want to tackle — he refers to them as Elephant Tasks — and build them into your daily routine. I think this applies so well to making jewelry and tackling the process of learning it into something manageable. In addition to the how, he also includes examples of individual habits and entire stacks. I want to note that I already created a new nightly habit stack that I have been able to implement for four nights running!

Value of the eBook: $3.99

A Simple Cleaning Routine (eBook)

“This workbook provides simple, action-based steps to help you keep your home clean and tidy in less than 30 minutes a day so that you can get back to living your best life!”

I think having a clean & clutter-free home is vital to being productive but it can feel overwhelming (especially if you have kids!). This book has GREAT takeaways. I love her cleaning product recommendations and use them myself. I even learned about how to polish my furniture with a product I already have at home, which was a nice bonus.

Value of the eBook: $12.00

Show up Afraid: Self-Guided Course (Workbook)

“Quiet the noise of perfectionism, comparison, and fear so you can to show up fully to your imperfect and beautiful life.

This workbook is one done over a longer stretch of time. I’ve only started to go through it but I look forward to digging through it more and using it as a reflection tool as the year goes on. I really like the worksheets and have been implementing some of her ideas into my daily routine.

I also really appreciate her openness and honesty and found this to be really refreshing. I just want to put in a trigger warning that she does make mention of eating disorders, self-harm, etc.

Value of the Workbook: $60.00

Overcoming Obstacles

*Mind The Chatter: Master Your Inner Voice, Gain a Positive Mindset and Get Your Power Back! (eBook)
