Although you know what I could really use this Valentine’s Day — or really any day of the week? Some really good hand cream. Man, are man hands dry and yucky looking. How to make your own earrings

Using your flat nose pliers, bend a piece of wire a little under half an inch from the edge of the wire at a 90-degree angle. This is going to be the post of the earring, or the part that goes through your ear. (Don’t worry if it’s a little long, you can always trim it down later. Better to be too long than too short!)

Now take your needle nose pliers and hold them parallel to the post part of the earring and perpendicular to the part you just bent. Wrap the wire halfway around one section of the plier. (Just a little side note, I’m not using needle nose pliers in my demo, but I don’t expect most of you will have these type of pliers at home. But if you do, feel free to use them!)

Using your flat nose pliers again, make a 90-degree bend in the wire at the bottom, about 1/2 centimeter from where you just made the half circle, pointing the wire back up in the direction of the post. (FYI, I am now holding the wire upside down from how I was holding it in the above photo)
