In the meantime, I want to recommend to you the best flat-nose pliers for working with jump rings.
(For your convenience, this is an affiliate link, which you can read more about in my disclosure.)
I use these Wubbers Flat Nose Pliers which you can purchase on Amazon here.
When I first started making chainmaille jewelry, I was using the wrong pliers. They cramped up my hands and made opening and closing all those jump rings.
Purchasing these was a game-changer. They are worth every penny. (So much so that I had to purchase a second set after they got confiscated at an airport. Word to the wise — don’t bring pliers with you on an airplane, check them with your luggage!)
And if you do buy them, you’ll need two pliers.
