January in Boson is cold. Cold and often grey with a sprinkling of white. Last week as I sat to do work in a local cafe, I looked up and saw that we were having our first flurries of 2016. In that moment I happened to be pondering what this month’s Etsy feature would be, and it hit me: winter whites.
While it can be risky, I really like white in the winter. (Hello, gross, dirty snow everywhere!) I have an awesome white winter coat that I got in 2007 when I was in graduate school that has shockingly held up reasonably well. The biggest reason I hold onto that coat is I feel really glamorous wearing it, but also because it’s a bit of brightness in what can otherwise can a very bleak season here. I hope these beautiful white finds will lift up your mood as well!
I don’t know why winter wreaths seem to be associate more with Christmas. I adore the simplicity in this one, regardless of the holidays!
There is something to serene about snow-covered trees. It makes me want to curl up in a cozy blanket with a mug of hot cocoa.
