Here in the Boston, we’re in the midst of that weird early spring season. That time of year where it’s gorgeous and sunny and Eve’s running around the playground in nothing more than a pair of jeans and a t-shirt one day, and three days later she’s bundled up in her winter coats and snow boots. Seriously, the SNOW plow come on Monday evening to clear out our driveway. Today when we left the house it was sunny, and then got caught in a rain/hail storm at a local farm.
Welcome to spring in New England, where the joke is if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute.
Regardless of what Mother Nature has in store for us, I’m in full-blown spring fever. I’m talking pack away the winter gear and plop a big ‘ole vase of daisies on my kitchen table mode. Go on a nature walk and hunt for acorns mode. Pretend to be a butterfly emerging from a cocoon mode. Get your kids making some spring-inspired crafts mode.
